SKYblue Pickleball Invited to Sponsor End of Season Women's League Banquet at Melba Bishop

Oceanside, CA - January 26, 2023 - The Women's League of Pickleball, co-founded by Jenae Alms and Kim Schavel in 2019, is a leading women's sports league in San Diego County. The league is dedicated to providing a fun, competitive, and supportive environment for women to improve their pickleball skills and build lifelong friendships. With home courts at Melba Bishop, the league is growing in popularity with every season.

SKYblue Pickleball is honored to have been invited as a sponsor for the End of Season Women's League banquet at Melba Bishop in Oceanside, CA. Co-owner Petra Michael attended the event and was thrilled to be a part of such an incredible group of women. 

It was wonderful meeting Martine Fronk, President of Oceanside Pickleball. Martine Fronk started playing pickleball in 2019 after she retired from 34 years of teaching in Vista Unified School District. She has lived in Oceanside for 35 years, raised four sons here, and her husband and I plan to stay and continue enjoying the beach, pickleball, and the great people of this community. Martine is a very service minded individual and she believes that giving back to the community is not only important, but necessary.
